Gran is run by Shiva Sharma. This notice explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. Contact: hello@shivasharma.co.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and profile picture from Google, or your email address if you sign in with an email link.
- Profile, if you add it: company, role, revenue band, market, business type and, optionally, a mobile number (stored encrypted).
- Reports you save: the inputs and results of the tool you used, so you can reopen, download and share them.
- Usage: which tools you use, how many reports you create, where you came from (page and campaign tags), and a one-way hash of your IP address for security and rate limiting.
- Consent records: what you agreed to, the wording version and when, including when you change your mind.
What we do not collect
Customer order files you load into the Customer Economics Audit are processed in your browser. The rows are never uploaded. Only the summary results are saved, and only if you save a report. We never sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Why we use it
- To run your account, create and deliver your reports, and track your credits.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To improve the tools, using aggregated usage.
- To send Shiva Sharma's newsletter, product updates about Gran Pro, and news about his books, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Service providers
Google (sign-in), our email delivery provider (sign-in links and reports), and our web host process data on our behalf, under their own security and data-protection terms.
Cookies
One essential cookie keeps you signed in across shivasharma.co and app.shivasharma.co. Your colour theme choice is stored in your browser. No advertising cookies are set by Gran.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your reports, profile and sign-in details are erased immediately. Security logs and consent records are kept for up to 2 years, as evidence of what you agreed to and to protect the service.
Your rights
You can access, correct, download and delete your data from Settings at any time, and withdraw any consent. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR and similar laws you may also request correction or erasure, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance by emailing hello@shivasharma.co. We respond within 30 days.
